A variety of people have fed back to me after grabbing their own copies of Tagging Secrets. They are reporting that they have seen substantial increases in the traffic to both their Blogs and their Websites after implementing some of the suggestions.

I have just been looking at the Alexa information which you can get about your blog/site through Technicrati and here is the latest information on - bearing in mind it’s maybe 10 days or so since we started applying these techniques:
3 month average ranking: 562,160
Change in the last 3 months Up 2,097,353
1 week Average 135,713
Average Reach per million users:
3 month average: 1.65
1 week average 11.00
Increase 3 month UP 725%
I can certainly confirm that Tagging Secrets has been a worthwhile Investment!

Another update on an experiment I undertook over the weekend using the principles I have been talking about in this thread and on my blog. I picked up on a topic being discussed within WF about “Christians.”
As some of you may be aware my Faith is a very important part of who I am. So I thought that it would be a worthwhile exercise to try something in a market with which I am very familiar, without at this stage monetizing it to see how I could do in terms of generating traffic.
Well two days later I can report that traffic to the blog is running at 3,847 visitors so far which doesn’t strike me as bad!

I have come across what appears to be a very useful site for those who are into Social Bookmarking or Tag and Ping.
It was one of those chance discoveries as I followed through on some leads as I read Lisa’s Tagging Secrets and I have been trying it out for a couple of days. I can report that it has certainly produced a significant increase in site traffic across all the blogs and sites that we have used it with. In some instances several hundred percent increase.
What the site does is allow you to submit your bookmarks to 17 of the leading Social Bookmarking sites (they have plans to add more from what I read) through one link. Essentially you save your login details for each of the Social Bookmarking sites to their site and then add a button to your Toolbar which you then use to submit each page/site that you want to bookmark. I had a little difficulty trying to add it to Internet Explorer (probably the security settings) but then I launched Opera and had no problem at all with adding it to Opera.
I submitted a few bookmarks and then checked at each of the sites and yes they were there! So it also adds them fairly swiftly which is a good thing. I did notice that they have quite cleverly arranged it so that the first site you bookmark on each of the Social Bookmarking sites is theirs but then that’s a small price to pay for what looks to be a great service.

Just thought that I would share the fact that our application of the approaches outlined in Lisa’s Tagging Secrets is continuing to generate increased volumes of traffic across all our Blogs.
We are seeing an average day on day increase in traffic now of 35% with some blogs seeing considerably more!
